What is BrowZine?

BrowZine is a tool which allows you to easily browse, read, and keep up-to-date with current scholarly journal content on any device. It offers as near to seamless access to your library’s subscriptions.

BrowZine is available as a desktop version and as as a free app for all mobile devices.

BrowZine is fully integrated with our catalog to enhance your journal browsing experience. It works by bringing together high-quality current titles from the library’s journal subscriptions with Open Access titles into a streamlined platform.

You can create a personal account in order to add your favourite journals to your Bookshelf and save articles to read later. Your articles (in My articles) can be synchronised to all your devices, like a PC, tablet or smartphone.

With BrowZine you can:

• Browse titles by subject to easily find journals of interest

• Easily view table of contents of current and past journals

• Create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals

• Save articles to EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, RefWorks, Dropbox, and other services

• Share with other researchers by posting to Facebook, Twitter and more

How to start using BrowZine?

Desktop / Web version: point your web browser to

You can immediately start searching for journal articles. If you want to view or download the full-text (PDF), you will be asked to authenticate yourself via the SURFconext interface using your Erasmus MC-ID (microsectienummer) and password.

Mobile version: 
Download it to your iPad, iPhone, or Android device from the App Store, Google Play, or Amazon (Android only). When you open BrowZine for the first time, you will see a list of schools – select Erasmus MC, then enter your Erasmus MC-ID (microsectienummer) and password.

For both versions: If you want to personalize your application (using My Bookshelf or My Articles) you have to sign up once to create your own free BrowZine account.
